Hello, I'm Leigh Ellwood, and I'll be your server this evening.

Actually, I'm not. I'm not even Leigh Ellwood, it's a pen name I devised using the last name of my favorite bassist and the middle name of my favorite drummer. I'd tell you my real name, but then I'd have to kill you. You can be sure, however, that I'd have the courtesy to wait for you to buy my books first.

Though I have been writing for nearly fifteen years, I did not branch into sensual romance until 2003. My first published erotic romance, Truth or Dare, is available from Phaze in eBook and Amazon.com in paperback. Truth or Dare is the first in a series of novels set in fictional Dareville, Virginia, a sleepy town where the people don't have much time for sleeping, ifyouknowwhutimean. >:-> Brady Garriston is a legendary rock singer seeking to rejuvenate his career and love life, and is able to do both with the love of an uninhibited schoolteacher named Ellie Shaw. Reading, 'riting, 'rithmatic, randiness...it's all there, and it's all good. Very good.

Dare Me, the sequel to Truth, follows Brady's friend Cal through an interesting living situation with Ellie's best friend Sue. Daring Young Man, the third story, is completed and follow's Sue and Ellie's friend Lauren as she pursues handsome widower, Jake Marbury.

The Stars Look Down, an erotic short now available from Silks Vault, is a delightful first person romp through the woods. Lace up your boots and let the buttons fly in the breeze...get back to nature, or get au naturel ! My Phaze Sparkler novella, Voyeur, touches on voyeurism (natch), and Muse is a story within a story, where a romance author seeks inspiration to break the writer's block.

The Healing, available from Venus Press, and Jack of Hearts, from Phaze, delve into M/M vampire fantasy. Followups are planned for both stories. Jack of Diamonds is completed. The Commoners, a prequel to The Healing, is in the works.

Taste This, part of a new series with Samhain Publishing, chronicles alien encounters and a universal love for chocolate chip cookies. Here's hoping everybody will want to kiss the cook.

My works with Midnight Showcase reflect my more playful side where erotic romance is concerned. "Fairies and Cherries" from Sinful Sundaes is a hilarious take on a hostage situation involving a sexy faerie and a bewildered ice cream delivery driver. "Marriage, Mayhem, and Marzipan" from the upcoming Sinful Sundaes 2 stars a werewolf with a sweet tooth. "Leading Lady" from Dragons, Elves, and Myths involves an actress' entanglement with elven lovers.

I also record a regular podcast of erotic romance excerpts. I feature my own works and those of other erotic romance authors. I also maintain the RSS feed for Phaze news and reviews.
